Why is my COZY Furnace not producing enough heat?
    • R
      Robert HarperSep 2, 2025
If your COZY Furnace isn't producing enough heat, the furnace might be undersized (have the heat loss calculated and compare it to the furnace output; your gas company can supply you with this information; if the furnace is undersized, replace it with the correct size unit), the thermostat might be set too low (raise the temperature setting), or the supply pressure might be incorrect (check the supply pressure).

What to do if my COZY Furnace pilot and main burner go out during normal operation?
    • T
      tammy41Aug 31, 2025
If the pilot and main burner of your COZY Furnace go out during normal operation, it may be due to a weak powerpile or thermocouple (check millivoltage and replace if low), input being too high (check input rate), the cover around the pilot lighter hole not being airtight (tighten wing nuts securing the cover and sight glass; check and replace the gasket if needed), vent tubes not properly installed or sealed (follow the instructions, check both exhaust and air intake tubes and vent cap; be sure all gaskets are in place and properly sealed; use only tubes and vent cap supplied, do not alter vent tubes or cap), or incorrect vent tubes (replace with correct tubes).

Why is my COZY Furnace burner not turning off?
    • B
      bridgetarellanoAug 30, 2025
If your COZY Furnace burner won’t turn off, it could be due to a defective or damaged thermostat wire or thermostat (remove the wire from the valve terminal; if the valve goes off, replace the wire or thermostat), the thermostat location (follow the installation instructions and check the location), a defective or sticking valve (clean or replace the valve), or excessive gas pressure (contact the utility supplying the gas).

What to do if my COZY CDV155C Wall Furnaces fails to ignite?
    • C
      Catherine YoungAug 28, 2025
If your furnace fails to ignite, several factors could be responsible. Ensure that all manual gas valves are open. Verify that the thermostat is set high enough to call for heat. Check for a clogged burner orifice and clean it, being careful not to enlarge it. Inspect the thermostat wiring for correctness or defects; jumping across the thermostat terminals at the valve can help diagnose this. Lastly, a defective valve could be the cause, necessitating replacement.

What to do if my COZY CDV155C burner won’t turn off?
    • F
      Frank LeonAug 27, 2025
If the burner won’t turn off, it could be due to several reasons. First, a defective or damaged thermostat wire or thermostat could be the cause; this can be checked by removing the wire from the valve terminal. If the valve goes off, replace the wire or thermostat. Second, the thermostat location may be incorrect. Third, the valve may be defective or sticking, requiring cleaning or replacement. Finally, excessive gas pressure could be the issue, in which case you should contact the utility supplying the gas.
  • E
    Eric HallAug 25, 2025
Why does my COZY Furnace have delayed ignition?
    • R
      Rachel WadeAug 25, 2025
Delayed ignition in your COZY Furnace can occur if the pilot flame is too small (adjust the pilot flame), burner ports are clogged at the pilot (clean burner ports, but do not enlarge them), gas pressure is low (check gas supply pressure), or the pilot decreases in size when the main burners come on (the supply piping is too small; consult the local gas company or a competent installer).
  • T
    Todd AcostaAug 22, 2025
Why is my COZY Furnace flame too large?
    • J
      Jennifer BrownAug 23, 2025
If the flame in your COZY Furnace is too large, it could be due to a defective operator section of the valve (replace the valve), a burner orifice that is too large (check with the local gas company for the proper orifice size and replace it), or if the furnace is installed above 2,000 ft (see burner orifice section, Page 13).
