UNPLUG THE CORD ifthe blade
bindsin the saw kerrwhile being
backed out ofthe workpiece,
usuallycaused bysawdust
cloggingthe kerr. Ifthishappens,
turnoffthe scrollsaw and unplug
the power cord. Wedge open the
kerf and back the blade out of the
workpiece.
17. DO NOT feed the material too
fast whilecutting. Only feed the
workpiece at the rate the saw will
cut.
18. TURN THE POWER OFF, remove
the switch key and make sure the
scrollsaw comes to a complete
stop before installingor removing
an accessory, and before leaving
the work area.

workpiece, MAKE SURE the
material issupported at table
height.
21. EXERCISE CAUTION when
cuttingworkpieces that are round
or irregularlyshaped. Round items
willroll and irregularlyshaped
workpieces can pinchthe blade.
