Yourmowerisshippedasa mulcher.Toconverttoside discharge,
makesuregrasscatcheris off of the unitand reardischargedooris
closed.
1. Onthesideof themower,lift themulchingcover.See Figure9.
2, Slidetwo hooksofside dischargecoverunderhingepinon
mulchingcoverassembly.Lowermulchingcover.Do notremove
sidemulchingcoverat anytime, evenwhen youarenotmulching.

Cutting Height
Thereis a cuttingheightadjustmentleverlocatedabovethefrontand
rearrightwheel,
1. Pulltheheightadjustmentleveroutwardtowardswheel(unitwill
tendto fall whenleveris movedoutward).See Figure10,
2. Moveleverto desiredpositionfora changeincuttingheight.See
Figure10.
3, Releaselevertowardsdeck.
IMPORTANT:Allwheelsmustbeplacedinthe sameposition.For
roughor unevenlawns,moveeachheightadjustmentleverto a higher
position.Thiswill preventyoufromcuttingthe grasstoocloseto the
ground,
Handle Pitch
Forconvenienceof operation,youmayadjustthe pitchof the handle
asfollows:
1, Removewing nutsandcarriageboltsfromhandle,SeeFigure11,
2. Positionthehandlein oneof thethreepositionsthatis most
comfortable,SeeFigure11inset,
3. Secureintopositionwithwingnutsandcarriageboltsremoved
earlier,
