positiontoensurea uniformcut.To adjustthecuttingheight,referto
theAssemblySection.
DECK WASH
Yourmower'sdeckis equippedwitha waterport onitssurfaceas part
ofits deckwashsystem.Usethe deckwashto rinsegrassclippings
fromthedeck'sunderside.
MULCH COVER
Themulchcoveris usedfor mulchingpurposes.Insteadof collecting
thegrassclippingsin agrasscatcheror usingthe sidedischarge
chute,somemowermodelshavethe optionof recirculatingthe
clippingsbacktothe lawn.Thisiscalledmulching.
SIDE DISCHARGE COVER
Yourmowerisshippedasa mulcher.Todischargethegrassclippings
tothe sideinstead,followtheinstructionsin theAssemblysectionto
attachthe sidedischargecover.
Keephandsandfeetawayfromthe chuteareaon cuttingdeck. Refer
towarninglabelonthe unit.
RECOIL STARTER
Therecoilstarteris attachedto theright upperhandle.Standbehind
theunit andpulltherecoilstarterropeto startthe unit.
OIL CAP/DIPSTICK
Referto theMaintenancesectionfor instructionsoncheckingthe oil.
TRAIL SHIELD
Thetrail shieldis attachedtothe rearofthe mowerand isthere to
protectthe operatorfromflyingdebris.Do notusethe mowerunless
theshieldis fullyfunctionalandin place.
