Why won't my Craftsman C459-52100 Snow Blower engine start?

  Your Craftsman Snow Blower might not start due to several reasons: * The fuel tank may be empty or contain stale fuel. Refill it with clean, fresh gasoline. * The key may not be fully inserted. Ensure the key is inserted all the way. * The spark plug wire might be disconnected. Connect the wire to the spark plug. * The spark plug could be faulty. Try cleaning it, readjusting the gap, or replacing it. * The engine may not be primed. Push the engine primer button five to seven times. * The engine might be flooded from excessive priming. Wait at least ten minutes before attempting to start it again.

  If your Craftsman snow thrower isn't discharging snow, here's what you can do: * The chute assembly might be clogged. Stop the engine, disconnect the spark plug wire, and then clean the chute and the inside of the auger housing using a clean-out tool or a stick. * A foreign object might be lodged in the auger. Immediately stop the engine, disconnect the spark plug wire, and remove the object from the auger. * The auger control cable may be out of adjustment. Adjust the auger control cable. * The auger belt could be loose or damaged. Replace the auger belt.
