Move the choke to the CHOKE position. * The spark plug wire could be disconnected. Connect the wire to the spark plug. * The fuel tank might be empty or contain stale fuel. Fill the tank with clean, fresh gasoline. * The engine might not be primed. Prime the engine as instructed. * The spark plug could be faulty. Clean, adjust the gap, or replace it. * The key may not be fully inserted into the ignition switch. Insert the key fully into the switch.

Stop the engine immediately, disconnect the spark plug wire, and remove the object from the auger with a clean-out tool or a stick. * Shear pins might be sheared. Replace them with new shear pins.
