2. Tap Photo to switch to Photo mode, if necessary.
3. Aim the camera at your subject and tap to take the photo.
Record a video
1. From the Home screen, tap Camera.
Tip: You can also access the camera in one of the methods described under “Take a photo” on page <OV>.
2. Tap Video to switch to Video mode (if necessary).
3. Aim the camera at your subject and tap to start recording a video.
•
Tap to take the photo while recording.
4. Tap again to stop recording and save your video.
Camera settings
You can adjust your camera’s settings using the icons on the main camera screen and the full camera settings menu.
Set camera functions
1. From the Home screen, tap Camera.
Tip: You can also access the camera in one of the methods described under “Take a photo” on page <OV>.
2. Tap Settings. You can view and/or set the following:
•
Picture size: Select to adjust the size ratio of your photos.
•
Location info: Enable or disable the saving of location information.
•
Camera mute: Enable or disable the shutter release and countdown sounds.
•
Touch shooting: Enable to take a photo by double tapping the screen.
•
Self timer: Select to set the self timer delay-action.
•
Grid line: Enable or disable the grid setting.
•
ZSD: Enable or disable the ZSD (zero shutter delay).
•
Volume key feature: Select to use the volume keys for volume, zoom, or shutter.
•
Anti flicker: Select to set the anti flicker to Auto, Off, 50Hz, or 60Hz.
•
Photo quality: Select to adjust the photo quality to Low, Standard, or High.
•
Reset: Restore camera to its default settings.
View pictures and video using Photos
Using the Photos app, you can view photos and watch videos that you’ve taken, downloaded, or copied onto your storage card or phone memory.
For pictures that are on your storage card or phone memory, you can do basic editing such as rotating and cropping. You can also easily assign a
photo as your contact photo or wallpaper and share photos with your friends.
View photos and videos
1. From the Home screen, tap Photos.
Tip: You can also access the Photos app by swiping up on the Home screen to access Apps and tapping Photos.
2. Tap an image or a video to view.
Review photos and videos
After capturing a photo or video, tap the thumbnail image at the bottom left corner of the screen to review it. From there, you can share, edit, or
delete the photo or video.
Options while reviewing photos or videos
Zoom in or out on a photo or video: Tap the screen twice or pinch the screen to zoom in or out on a photo or video.
Viewing videos: Use the on-screen controls to play, pause, or stop the video playback.
