3. Slide the Wi-Fi Hotspot switch to the On position to activate the mobile hotspot.

Hotspot name: Set the hotspot name.

Security: Turn hotspot security on or off.

Hotspot password: Tap to set a hotspot password.
•
Manage devices: Tap to manage connected devices or to connect a new device.
•
Turn off hotspot automatically: Slide the switch to the On position to turn off the hotspot automatically if no devices are connected.
•
Extend compatibility: Slide the switch to the On position to help other devices find this hotspot.
USB tethering
Share your phone’s internet connection via USB.
1. Connect your phone to the device that you want to share your internet with using a USB type-c cable before continuing to the next step.
2. From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps and tap Settings.
3. Tap Network & internet > Hotspot & tethering > USB tethering.
4. Slide the USB tethering switch to the On position to enable USB tethering.
Bluetooth tethering
Share your phone’s internet connection via Bluetooth.
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps and tap Settings.
2. Tap Network & internet > Hotspot & tethering > Bluetooth tethering.
3. Slide the Bluetooth tethering switch to the On position to enable Bluetooth tethering.
Data Saver
Reduce data usage by preventing some apps from sending or receiving data in the background. An app you are currently using can access data,
but may do so less frequently.
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps and tap Settings.
2. Tap Network & internet > Data Saver.
3. Tap to slide the Use Data Saver switch to the On position to enable the data saving feature.

Unrestricted data: Tap to set up apps that will function with unrestricted access to data at all times.
VPN (Virtual Private Networks)
Note: You need to set a screen lock PIN or password before you can use a VPN.
Add a VPN profile
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps and tap Settings.
2. Tap Network & internet > VPN.
3. Tap + Add VPN on the top right corner of the VPN screen to add a
VPN profile.
4. Follow the prompts to set up a VPN.
Edit and delete a VPN
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps and tap Settings.
2. Tap Network & internet > VPN.
3. Tap next to a VPN.
4. Edit the VPN and tap SAVE, or tap FORGET to delete the VPN.
