Emergency Location Services: Slide the switch to the On position to turn Emergency Location Services (ELS) on. When you call or text an
emergency number, your device will use ELS to automatically send your location to emergency responders.

Google Location Accuracy: Slide the Google Location Accuracy switch to the On position to use GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile networks, and
sensors to determine your location.

Google Location History: Tap to view your location history.
•
Google Location Sharing: Tap to share your location.
•
Carrier Location Access: Tap to allow mobile network diagnostics access to your device location to understand where problems are
occurring and improve the quality of your wireless experience.

Wi-Fi scanning: Improve location accuracy by allowing system apps and services to detect Wi-Fi networks at any time.
•
Bluetooth scanning: Improve location accuracy by allowing system apps and services to detect Bluetooth devices at any time.
Safety & emergency
Set up and manage emergency SOS, medical information, alerts, and more.
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps and tap Settings.
2. Tap Safety & emergency.
OPEN EMERGENCY INFORMATION
Tap to add your personal emergency information. Adding medical information and emergency contacts can help first responders in an
emergency.
•
Tap Name to add your name.
•
Add information: Tap + to add detailed emergency information such as Name, Address, Blood type, Allergies, Medications, Organ
doner information, and Medical notes.

Add contact: Tap + to add an emergency contact.
Emergency information
Tap to view and edit your personal emergency information. Adding medical information and emergency contacts can help first responders in an
emergency.
Emergency SOS
1. Slide the switch to the On position to turn emergency SOS on. When it is on, you can press the Power button quickly 5 times or more to start
the emergency SOS actions.
•
Play countdown alarm: Slide the switch to the On position to automatically play a loud sound when emergency SOS is started.
•
Call for help: Automatically calls your emergency contact number. The default is 911, but you can tap to change it.
Note: If you enter a non-emergency number, your device must be unlocked to use Emergency SOS and your call might not be answered..
Emergency Location Services
When Emergency Location Services is turned on, and if ELS is supported in your region, when you call or text an emergency number, your device
will use ELS to automatically send your location to emergency responders.
Wireless Emergency Alerts
View and manage your Wireless Emergency Alert settings.
1. Tap and slide the switch to the On position to allow alerts. When Wireless Emergency Alerts is turned on, you will receive selected
emergency alert communications.
