What to do if my Crown Kettle has extremely slow cooking time?
- HhmillerJul 29, 2025
Several factors can cause extremely slow cooking times. First, air might be present in the kettle jacket; in that case, follow the AIR VENTING INSTRUCTIONS to remove the air. Second, a slow leak may have developed in the jacket; check all fitting connections, including the heating element gasket, and tighten or replace them if necessary. Finally, a heating element might be burnt out; test the elements, and if defective, replace the complete element assembly.
