4 Advanced Features
and Options

4.1 Protection Systems
Your Crown amplifi er provides extensive protection and
diagnostic capabilities, including output current limiting,
DC protection, circuit breaker, and thermal protection.
4.1 1 Output Current Limiting
Output Current Limiting circuitry protects the ampli fi er
output stage from damage caused by short-cir cuit loads.
4.1.2 DC Protection
DC Protection disconnects the loudspeaker load in the
event of an output DC offset exceeding 2V. In such an
event the red Fault LEDs will illuminate (see Figure
4.1) and both amplifi er channels will be muted. In
the majority of cases, DC protection is indicative of a
faulty amplifi er channel, and will be accompanied by an
illuminated Clip LED, even with no input connected and
level controls set at mini mum. If this is the case, contact
your dealer or ser vice center.

4.1 Schutzschaltungen
Ihre Crown-Endstufe verfügt über umfassende
Schutz- und Diagnosemechanismen, darunter Aus-
gangsstrombegrenzung, Gleichstromschutz, Unter-
brecher, und einen thermischen Schutz.
4.1.1 Ausgangsstrombegrenzung
Die Ausgangsstrombegrenzung schützt die Aus-
gangsstufe Ihrer Crown XLS vor Schäden durch
Lastkurzschluß.
4.1.2 Gleichstromschutz
Der Gleichstromschutz trennt die Lautsprecherlast, wenn
der Ausgangs-Gleichanteil 2V überschreitet. In diesem
Fall die rote Störung LED belichtet (sehen Abb. 4.1)
und beide Verstärkerführungen sind gedämpft. Meistens
weist der Gleichstromschutz auf einen fehlerhaften
Kanal der Endstufe hin und wird vom Aufl euchten der
Übersteuerungs-LED begleitet, selbst wenn kein Eingang
belegt ist und und die Pegelregler in Minimumstellung
sind. Wenden Sie sich in diesem Fall an Ihren Händler
oder einen qualifi zierten Techniker.

4.1 Sistemas de Protección
Su amplifi cador Crown cuenta con una gran can tidad

limitación de corriente de salida, protec ción contra DC,
interruptor termo magnético y pro tección térmica para.
4.1.1 Limitación de Corriente de Sal ida
El circuito de Limitación de Corriente de Salida pro tege
la etapa de salida del amplifi cador contra daño causado
por cargas en corto.
4.1.2 Protección Contra Corriente Directa
(DC)
La protección contra DC desconecta el altoparlante de
carga en el caso de una variación de DC que exceda
2 Voltios. En tal caso, la roja LEDs de falla iluminará
(ver Figura 4.1) y ambos canales de amplifi cación se
silenciarán. En la mayoría de los casos, la protección
contra DC indica un canal de amplifi cación defectuoso,
y estará acompañada del LED de Clip iluminado, aún
cuando no haya carga conectada y los controles de nivel
se encuentren en su posición mínima. Si este es el caso,
contacte a su distribuidor ó centro de Servicio.

4. 1 保护系统
你的皇冠功放拥有广泛的电路保护和诊断性
能，包括输出电流限定，直流电保护，断路
和过热保护。
4.1.1 输出电流限定
提供输出电流限定的电路能保护功放输出阶
段免于短路负载带来的损坏。
4.1.2 直流保护控制电路
在功放输出直流电压正负偏差超过2 伏时，
直流保护电路启动断开喇叭负载。在这种情
况下，红色故障发光二极管会指示（见图4.1）
并且两个功放通路被静默。在大多数情况下，
直流电保护功能可以显示有故障的功放通
路，伴随有指示灯闪亮现象，即使是在没有
连接输入和控制器设置为最小时也会指示。
