Ensure the inlet pressure is at least 20 psig to allow the injector to perform properly. Finally, lower the brine refill time if the brine refill cycle time is excessive.

Try cleaning or replacing the pipeline and pretreat to prevent future issues. Fouled resin can also cause this problem, so clean the resin and pretreat to prevent it. Additionally, check the backwash setting and backwash more frequently if it's improper.

  If your CSI Water Filtration System softener fails to use salt, check and reset the programming of the control valve. Clean the drain line and/or flow control button if the drain line is plugged or restricted. Clean or replace the injector and screen if they are plugged. Check for restrictions in the BLFC, ensure the safety float is not stuck, and inspect the brine tank for leaks if there is no water in the brine tank. Ensure the line pressure is at least 20 psi if the water pressure is too low. Check brine line connections for air leaks if the brine line injects air during brine draw.
