1.1 General
The ETU-01A provides an economical digital access
solution for E1 and Fractional E1 network services. User
replaceable Data I/F Modules provide a wide range of industry
standard interfaces to DTE devices, which may be linked to an
ETU-01A at data rates of 56Kbps to 2048Kbps.
The ETU-01A supports local control and diagnostics via the
LCD display, keypad and LED status indicators located on the
front panel, via the RS-232 control port connection or via optional
SNMP. The SNMP option provides Simple Network
Management Protocol System functions over a 10BASE-T
connection, which allow the user to remotely control, diagnose,
and monitor the system. These features enable users to easily
configure the unit, execute the loop back/BERT functions and
monitor the network status either locally or remotely.
The ETU-01A operates from 90~250VAC. A model is also
available for 18 to 72VDC. The unit is built in a compact case that
can be placed on desktops and shelves or installed, by means of
an appropriate adapter, in a 19” EIA rack.
