SAFE OPERATION PRACTICES

TRAINING

Read manual, learn controls, and ensure operators are trained before use. Owner is responsible for training.

GENERAL OPERATION

Follow all instructions, know controls, keep bystanders clear, inspect area, and use approved accessories.

SLOPE OPERATION

Exercise caution on slopes, mow across, not up/down. Use low speeds and avoid sudden changes in direction.

CHILDREN

Keep children away from operating area and machine. Never let children under 16 operate.

TOWING

Do not tow heavy loads on slopes. Use a machine with a hitch and follow manufacturer recommendations.

TRANSPORTING

Use care when loading/unloading. Ensure ramps are stable and secured. Secure machine properly.

OPERATOR PROTECTIVE SYSTEM (OPS)

Understand the ROPS and seat belt system. Ensure they are properly installed, used, and maintained.

HYDRAULIC DEVICES & SYSTEMS

Handle hydraulic fluid with care. Escaping fluid can cause injury. Relieve pressure before work.

Safe Handling of Fuel

Use extreme care when handling fuel. It is flammable and vapors are explosive. Extinguish all ignition sources.
