Isolated DIO (IPC-E1s only)
There is a 16-bit (8-bit DI, 8-bit DO) DIO connector. The DI/DIO supports NPN (Sink)
and PNP (Source) mode. Each DI channel is equipped with a photocoupler for isolated
protection. Each DO has an isolator chip, configured by a jumper for each DIO
connector. DO Safety-Related Certifications:
• 4242-VPK Basic Isolation per DIN V VDE V 0884-10 and DIN EN 61010-1
• 3-KVRMS Isolation for 1 minute per UL 1577
• CSA Component Acceptance Notice 5A, IEC 60950-1 and IEC 61010-1 End
