Child Size Requirements
ONLY USE this child restraint with children who meet ALL of
the following requirements:
• Weight is between 4—32 lb (1,8—14,5 kg) AND
• Height is a maximum of 30 inches (76 cm) AND
• Top of the head is at least 1 inch (2,5 cm) below the
top of the Infant Carrier.
DO NOT USE this child restraint if your child does not
meet ALL of these requirements.
Rear Facing is Safest
We recommend that all children ride rear-facing until they are at least two (2) years of age. It is
safer for young children to ride rear-facing as long as possible to protect the head, spine and upper
torso in the event of a collision.
Use the CYBEX Aton until your child reaches the maximum weight or height limits. Because not
all children have the same shapes and sizes, DO NOT USE the Aton when the top of the child's
head is less than 1 inch (2,5 cm) from the top of the Infant Carrier. This allows for proper
protection during a crash.
After your child outgrows the Aton, keep your child rear-facing in a convertible seat as long as
possible, according to the manufacturer's specications, before turning them around to ride
forward facing.
