7.4 Fixed function GPIF-2 interface on the CX3
7.4.1 Fixed-Function GPIF-2 Waveform
The fixed-function GPIF II state machine on the CX3 implements the state machine
shown in Figure 7-20. The state machine makes the parallel data provided by the
MIPI CSI-2 available for transfer over two GPIF-II sockets which can be connected
to a Many to One DMA channel.
The functionality of this state machine is similar to the GPIF II state machine
described in Application Note AN75779 - How to Implement an Image Sensor
Interface with EZ-USB® FX3™ in a USB Video Class (UVC) Framework.
Detailed description of this state machine along with instructions on creating CX3
based application projects will be provided via an Application Note on “How to
interface a MIPI CSI-2 Image Sensor with EZ-USB® CX3” which will be made
available from the Cypress website.
