VLAN Assignments
A VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) is a group of end-stations that are
not constrained by their physical location and can communicate as if in a
common broadcast domain, a LAN.
Up to sixteen VLAN (eight with the DES-1016) groups can be assigned
with any number of port configurations.
