Installing the Switch in a Rack
The Switch can be mounted in a standard 19" rack. Use the following diagrams to guide you.

Fasten the mounting brackets to the Switch using the screws provided. With the brackets attached securely, you can
mount the Switch in a standard rack as shown in Figure 2-3 below.
Mounting the Switch in a Standard 19" Rack
CAUTION: Installing systems in a rack without the front and side stabilizers installed could cause the
rack t o t ip o ver, potentially r esulting i n bo dily injury under c ertain c ircumstances. T herefore, al ways
install the stabilizers before installing components in the rack. After installing components in a rack, do
not p ull m ore than one component out of the rack on i ts s lide assemblies at one time. The weight of
more than one extended component could cause the rack to tip over and may result in injury.
