Section 1 - Product Overview
The DIR-879 supports the latest wireless security features to help prevent unauthorized access, be it from over a wireless
network or the Internet. Support for WPA™ and WPA2™ standards ensure that you will be able to use the best possible
encryption regardless of your client devices. In addition, this router is equipped with a dual-active rewall (SPI and NAT) to
prevent potential attacks over the Internet.
D-Link Intelligent QoS Technology helps to increase network eciency by analyzing network trac and prioritizing it in order
of importance. This way, two-way video, voice chat, and online gaming take priority over background network trac such as a
le downloads, ensuring you have optimal network performance.
