2. Inspect the mode switch to ensure that it is in EXTENDER position. Adjust the switch if necessary.
1. The DIR-879 is designed to give you the fastest, most stable network connection possible. In order to maximize
performance, fully extend the antennas to provide optimal wireless coverage. Position your DIR-879 near where you
wish to extend Wi-Fi to. Place it in an open area for better wireless coverage, but is still within range of your existing
wired network using an Ethernet cable.

3. Connect the supplied power adapter to the DIR-879 and a power outlet.
Note: Extending network to desired your location via Ethernet may require the purchase of additional cable.
Maximum CAT5e cable length is limited to 100 meters.
Use a Gigabit-capable Ethernet connection where possible to ensure the best networking experience.
This unit is to be used with power supply model DA-60N12.
