The main shift lever pattern is in the form
of an “H”. The range lever is used to se-
lect three stages, “High”, “Middle” and
“Low (Creep)”.
Using the Hi-Lo shift lever in combination
with the Main shift lever, it is possible to
obtain four speeds forward and four
speeds in reverse in each of the three
speed ranges; for a total of 12 forward
and 12 reverse speeds.

CAUTION
The shuttle shift lever may be
shifted while the tractor is mov-
ing slowly and the clutch is
depressed. Sudden gear shift
changes may cause transmission
damage.
CAUTION
Depress the clutch pedal com-
pletely before making speed
changes.

• Rotary tilling
• Transplanting
• Loading, unloading
• Trenching
2. NOT RECOMMENDED
• Operation in mud
• Pulling a trailer or other load
• Front-end loader operations
• Working in or near road traffic
