Reading and observing the instructions
in this manual, in addition to being alert
while operating the tractor, will prevent
most accidents.
BEFORE OPERATING THE
TRACTOR
1. Read this entire manual carefully be-
fore using the tractor to prevent acci-
dents or equipment damage.
2. Only allow properly trained and quali-
fied persons to operate the tractor.
3. Replace all missing, illegible or dam-
aged safety decals. See list of decals
on page 1-13.
4. Keep safety decals free of dirt or
grime.
5. To prevent falls, use the handholds and
step plates when getting on and off
the tractor. Keep step and platform
clear of mud and debris.
6. When working in the field or muddy
areas, be sure to scrape off mud or
soil from the bottom of your shoes be-
fore mounting the tractor.
7. Watch where you are going at all time.
Watch for and avoid obstacles.
8. Before starting the tractor, check to
see that there are no people around.
