- Continuous Drainage: For extended periods of non-use, the rubber blockage can be removed from the back hole, and a continuous drain hose can be attached to the drain hose connector. This allows all water in the tank to drain out, and the water pump will not be activated in this mode.
- Drain Tank Safety Feature: The unit is equipped with two full-safe switch mechanisms. One controls the water pump drainage, and the other monitors the water level. If the water level reaches a predetermined maximum, the "P1" code will appear on the digital display, and the "WATER FULL INDICATOR" will illuminate. In this event, the unit should be moved outside, the rubber blockage removed from the back drainage hole, and the water drained manually. The unit will resume operation once the water is drained.
Maintenance Features:
Regular maintenance is essential for the air conditioner's efficiency and to prevent issues.
- Safety Precautions: Always unplug the unit before cleaning. Do not use gasoline, thinner, or other chemicals. Avoid washing the unit directly with a tap or hose to prevent electrical hazards. If the power cord is damaged, it must be repaired by the manufacturer or an authorized service agency.
- Air Filter Cleaning: The air filter should be cleaned at least once every two weeks to maintain optimal fan operation and prevent dust buildup.
- Removal: Pull out the filter cover and then remove the air filter from the cover.
- Cleaning: Immerse the air filter gently in warm water (about 40°C/104°F) with a neutral detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry it in a shady place.
- Mounting: Attach the clean, dry air filter to the filter cover using the attachment hooks and then put the filter cover back onto the unit.
- Unit Enclosure Cleaning: Use a lint-free cloth dampened with neutral detergent to clean the unit's exterior. Finish by wiping with a dry, clean cloth.
