Lubricating the drive shaft universal joint
1. Grease the universal joints of the drive shaft
until the grease comes out of all 4 needle
bushes.
Note:
If the grease does not come out of all 4
needle bushes, the joint may be turned to
soften hardened grease.
If the grease does not come out of all 4
needle bushes after the prop shaft has been
repeatedly turned, the joint needs to be
replaced.
The maximum lubricating pressure should
not exceed 15 bar.
