Basic Operation
Adjusting the Air ow Direction
You can adjust the air ow direction to increase your comfort.
CAUTION
• Always use a remote controller to adjust the angles of the  ap. Moving the  ap forcibly by hand may cause a
malfunction.
• Be careful when adjusting the louvers. Inside the air outlet, a fan is rotating at a high speed.
To start auto swing
Up and down air ow direction
Press �
• “ ” is displayed on the LCD.
• The  aps (horizontal blades) will begin to swing.
To set the  ap at the desired position
• This function is effective while the  ap is in auto swing mode.
Press when the  ap reaches the desired
position�
• “ ” disappears from the LCD.
To adjust the louvers at desired position
Hold the knobs and move the louvers
(vertical blades)�
NOTE
Note on air ow direction setting
• The movable range of the  ap varies according to the operation mode.
• Unless “Swing” is selected, you should set the  ap at a near-horizontal angle in FAN or HEAT operation
and at a upward position in COOL or DRY operation to obtain the best performance.
