1.8 Removal of Fan Motor
Procedure Warning Be sure to turn off all power supplies at least 10 min. before
disassembling work.
Step Procedure Points

Undo the fan motor
lead wires from the
hooks.
Preparation
Remove the drain pan unit
according to the “Removal
of Drain Pan Unit.”
You can remove the fan
motor with the heat
exchanger left.
It is easy to clean up the
heat exchanger.

Loosen and remove the
fan rotor lock screw.
3
Remove the 2 screws
of the fan motor fixing
plate.
