11.1 Safety and responsibility
ELECTROCUTION HAZARD!
• Never touch an electrical appliance if your hands or feet
are wet or if you are barefoot.
• A damaged power supply cable must be replaced by the
supplier, dealer or after-sales service without delay.
• If cable or plug are damaged, do not use the appliance any
longer.
• If the hob can no longer be switched off due to defect:
• Switch off the household fuse immediately.
• Call After Sales Service.
SAFETY OF VULNERABLE PERSONS:
CHILDREN AND PERSONS WITH LIMITED
APTITUDE
• This appliance may be used by children above 8 years of
age, and by persons with limited physical, sensory or
mental aptitude or lack of experience and/or knowledge:
• If they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe
use of the appliance
• and understand the associated dangers.
• Children must not be allowed to play with the appliance.
Keep children away from the appliance!
• Children must not be allowed to clean the appliance.
• Risk of injury from individual cleaning operations.
