What to do if the DANIEL 700 Control Unit valve will not open?

If the DANIEL Control Unit valve won't open, several factors could be at play. First, ensure that the upstream valve is open. If it is closed, opening it should resolve the issue. Secondly, verify that the pump is operational and check for any signs of cavitation; start the pump if it's not running. Also, check the downstream valve and open it, paying special attention to the coupler on bottom loading units and the internal valve in the truck. Insufficient pressure could also be the culprit, so inspect the pump, bypass, and the strainer in the line. A clogged strainer can restrict flow, so clean it thoroughly. Lastly, swollen O-rings can impede valve function; in this case, disassemble the valve, replace the O-rings, and confirm their compatibility with the product being used.
