Enable SCR Y4: This enables the proportional SCR modulation of analog output
Y4 whenever any of the heat outputs energize based on the heat mode selected
above (if set as None, SCR operates the same as if set to One”). HT2 (DO10)
turns on when temperature drops below setpoint minus the Stage-To-Stage
setting.
SCR Band: This setting determines how far below set point minus dead band, that
temperature must drop until modulation will reach 100%. Range of adjustment is 1
to 20°F with a default setting of 1°F.
Safeties: The heaters will be shut down under the following conditions: Air Flow
Alarm, Condensation Alarm, Fan Overload Alarm, or a Reheat Inhibit command
sent from a BMS or the Zone Control (to prevent conflicting operation, see section
on Zone Control for more information.
Note: Heating will be interrupted if humidification is running when the humidifier is
set to a Computermode).
Timed Safeties: There is a delay from when the last compressor stopped cooling,
to when heating may begin. This delay is called the Dly After DX (in Factory
settings menu) and is defaulted to 10mins.There is a 60 second delay between
each heating stage.
Staging Heating Elements (SCR not enabled):
When temperature is dropping:
Stage 1 ON at Setpoint minus Heat Deadband
Stage 2 ON at Setpoint minus Heat Deadband minus Stage-to-Stage Stage 3
ON at Setpoint minus Heat Deadband minus 2 X Stage-to-Stage Note: there
is a minimum delay of 60 seconds before the next stage turns on.
When temperature is rising:
Stage 3 OFF at Setpoint minus 2 X Stage-to-Stage
Stage 2 OFF at Setpoint minus Stage-to-Stage
Stage 1 OFF at Setpoint
SCR Reheat: This feature uses an optional SCR reheat module that modulates
power to the heaters for better temperature regulation. The SCR Band setting
determines how far below set point minus heat deadband that the temperature can
drop for modulation to reach 100%. The modulation is in 10% proportional steps.
Output HT2 is used to energize the SCR module when temperature drops below
set point minus heat deadband and turns back off at Setpoint.
