Note: The Fan Settings screen is only displayed when fan type is set to “Plug Fan”
in the previous screen.
CW Mode: The fan control method while in CW cooling only. The selections are:
Constant Speed: (default selection) Fan runs at a constant speed.
BMS Speed*: Fan begins at the constant speed setting then modulates via
BMS command between the Minimum and Maximum setting.
Vlv Pos Speed: Fan modulates based on CW valve position.
Air Pressure: Fan modulates to maintain the static air pressure set point.
Const Flow: Fan modulates to maintain the airflow set point.
BMS Flow*: Fan modulates to maintain the airflow setpoint of the BMS.
Vlv Pos Flow: Fan modulates to maintain the airflow based on CW valve
position.
Return Air T: Fan modulates to return air temperature.
Mod to Rack: Fan modulates to rack temperature.
Note on Return and Rack temperature settings: Fan modulation begins
when the temperature rises above the Fan Temp Setpoint plus Fan Temp
Deadband (Setpoints menu). The fan modulation will then increase 10% for
every 0.1 degree the temperature rises.
Aire Seal Damper: Allows the fan to run at a low speed when in standby mode to
prevent back draft. The speed setting of this feature is on the following screen.
CW Speed: (not shown on IRDX model) The CW constant speed has a range of
adjustment from 60 to 100% with a default setting of 85%.
