The DPR-145 is a precision temperature protection relay designed for dry-type or resin-filled MV transformers, offering robust protection against electromagnetic disturbances.
The unit features four PT100 temperature inputs. Three inputs are dedicated to transformer protection, while the fourth can be used for core temperature protection or ambient temperature monitoring. It provides independently adjustable alarm and trip levels for all four sensor inputs. The device continuously monitors for abnormal conditions and programmable alarm limits are provided for every measured value. If a fault occurs, the corresponding alarm LED (TRIP, FAULT, or ALARM) illuminates, an alarm code is displayed, and the alarm relay operates. Even after an alarm clears, the LED remains on, though the relay output deactivates. Pressing the MODE button clears the alarm display and resumes normal operation. The unit also includes a FAN output for cooler fan control, a TRIP relay for high temperature failures, an ALARM relay for pre-alarms, and a FAULT indicator for sensor or internal failures. A cable compensation function prevents long cables from impairing measurement precision.
The DPR-145 offers a range of user-friendly features:
