shock absorbers and
struts
Merely push
down on
one
of the front
fenders as far down as
you
can
push

pull
It
upward
as
far
as
you
can
Contmue
thiS motion
through
several
more
cycles
Release
the car at the
top
of the
cycle
It should
settle after
movmg
to
the bottom of
the
cycle
and
then
part
way up
If
the car
contmues
to bounce the shocks or
struts are
worn and
should
be
replaced
Perform thiS
test
at the
remammg
three
corners of the car

stands under rear
axle case
on
both
Sides
of
car Do not
support
the car
by
a
component
of
the
suspensIOn
that IS connected
to the
spnng

bolts

Remove the
shock
absorber In
