2 Disconnect the
upper
radiator hose
at the thermostat
housmg
water
outlet

Remove the
two
secunng
nuts
water
outlet
gasket
and thermostat
from the thermostat
housmg

Before
replacmg
make
sure the
gasket
surfaces
are
absolutely
clean of the old
gasket
matenal
or
the
connection
may
leak
Install
a
new thermostat
gasket
and
the new
thermostat

Install the water outlet and
tighten
the
two
secunng
nuts
evenly
from
Side to Side
so as
not
to
warp
the
housmg
Also
be careful not to
overtighten
the nuts because
you
might
crack
or
break
the thermo
stat
housmg

Inspect
the used coolant If
It S
dirty
or contammated
replace
It
With fresh
coolant
m at least a
50 50 mixture of water and new
coolant or
accordmg
to
the m
structlOns
on
the coolant con
tamer Fill the
cooling system
to
the recommended
capaCIties
