Diagnostics Screens
The Diagnostics Screens are helpful for troubleshooting. For example, if the thruster joystick is being
pushed forward and the thrusters are not moving, various data within these screens can help narrow
down the problem. Here, you can also monitor the system voltages as well as the current
draws from each motor.
To access the Diagnostics Screens, Press the MENU button and then Select Diagnostics
The DTG2 uses separate battery and electrical systems the ROV itself and within the controller. The
systems communicate with each other via RS485 in operation. Since the sensors are not on a system
that has motors or any “noisy” devices, the readings are very clear. The systems are as follows:
POWER
CONTROLLER VDC battery level controller (nominal 11.1 VDC)
ROV MAIN VDC battery level ROV (nominal 19.2 VDC)
RIGHT current draw FR thruster motor (normally 0 – 8000ma)
LEFT current draw RR thruster motor (normally 0 – 8000ma)
COMMUNICATIONS
CURRENT DIVE MIN current dive time in minutes
LAST DIVE last dive time in minutes
SYSTEM for factory use only
