Removing the touchpad

Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery (half-length) or the battery (full-length), whichever applicable.
Procedure
1 Open the latch and disconnect the touchpad cable from the system board.
2 Remove the four screws (M2x2.5) that secure the touchpad to the palm-rest assembly.
3 Slide the touchpad along with its cable at an angle and lift the touchpad o the palm-rest assembly.
