3. Replace the two (M2x2) screws that secure the system board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
4. Connect the speaker cable to the system board.
5. Open the latch and connect the touchpad cable to the system board.
6. Open the latch and connect the keyboard-backlight cable to the system board.
7. Open the latch and connect the keyboard cable to the system board.
8. Open the latch and connect the power-button cable to the system board.

1. Install the hard drive.
2. Install the power-adapter port.
3. Install the heat sink.
4. Install the right fan.
5. Install the WLAN card.
6. Install the solid-state drive/Intel Optane.
7. Install the battery.

4. Remove the solid-state drive/Intel Optane.
5. Remove the WLAN card.
6. Remove the right fan.
7. Remove the heat sink.
8. Remove the power-adapter port.
9. Remove the hard drive.
10. Remove the system board.
NOTE: The system board can be removed with the heat sink attached.
