Removing the fan

Prerequisites
Remove the base cover.
Procedure
1. Peel the tape off the heat sink.
2. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board. Note the cable routing and remove the fan cable and the antenna cable from the
routing guides on the fan.
3. Peel the tapes off the fan.
4. Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secure the fan to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
5. Lift the fan off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
