Replacing the AC-Adapter Connector

Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9.

Place the AC-adapter connector on the computer base.

Replace the screw that secures the AC-adapter connector to the computer
base.

Route the AC-adapter connector cable through the routing guides.

Replace the VGA connector board (see "Replacing the VGA Connector
Board" on page 74).

Replace the hinge cover (see "Replacing the Hinge Cover" on page 71).

Replace the display assembly (see "Replacing the Display Assembly" on
page 56).

Follow the instructions from step 7 to step 20 in "Replacing the System
Board" on page 81.
CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure that no
stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may result in damage to
the computer.
