3. Perform the following steps to remove the base cover from the computer:
a) Remove the screws that secure the base cover to the computer.
b) Pry the edges of the base cover and remove the base cover from the computer.
Installing the Base Cover
1. Align the edges of the base cover on the computer and press it on the computer until it snaps in
place.
2. Tighten the screws to secure the base cover to the computer.
3. Install the battery.
4. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.
Removing the Memory
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working On Your Computer.
2. Remove the:
a) battery
b) base cover
3. Perform the following steps to remove the memory module(s) from the computer:
a) Pry the retention clips away from the memory module(s) till the memory module(s) pop up.
b) Remove the memory module(s) from the computer.
