5.3 Adding additional memory in Dell R320
5.3.1 Prerequisites
l Turn off the system.
l Disconnecting power cords and cables from the server.
CAUTION
The DIMMs are hot to the touch for some time after the system is powered down. Allow time for
the DIMMs to cool before handling them. Handle the DIMMs by the edges and avoid touching
DIMM components.
