Remove the faulty drive
Perform the following steps to remove the drive carrier containing the faulty drive:
Steps
1. Identify the drive for replacement by the status LED on the drive carrier blinking amber.
2. Press the release button on the failed drive to open the drive carrier release handle.
NOTE: Wait for 30 seconds to allow the disk drive to spin down before removing the drive.
3. Hold the drive carrier release handle and slowly pull the drive carrier out of the drive slot.
