IO board
Removing the IO board
1 Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2 Remove the base cover.
3 Remove the I/O-board interposers.
4 Remove the battery.
5 To remove the I/O board:
a Remove the two screws (M2x4) that secure the wireless-antenna bracket to the I/O board [1].
b Using a plastic scribe, disconnect the antenna cables from the I/O board [2].
c Remove the three screws (M2x4) that secure the Type-C USB bracket to the I/O board [3].
d Using a plastic scribe, disconnect the speaker cable from the I/O board [4].
e Disconnect the LED and microphone cable from the I/O board [5].
