Removing the display assembly
1 Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2 Remove the base cover.
3 Remove the I/O-board interposers.
4 Remove the heat sink.
5 To remove the display assembly:
a Open the latch and disconnect the camera cable from the system board [1].
b Peel the camera cable from the palm-rest and keyboard assembly [2].
c Peel the tape that secures the display-cable bracket to the system board [3].
d Remove the two screws (M1.6x1.8) that secure the display-cable bracket to the system board and lift the bracket o the system
board [4].
e Using the pull tab, disconnect the display cable from the system board [5].
f Remove the two screws (M2x4) that secure the wireless-antenna bracket to the I/O board and lift the bracket o the I/O board
[6].
g Disconnect the antenna cables from the I/O board [7].
h Open the computer at a 180-degree angle and place it on a at and clean surface with the display screen facing down.
