Removing the Power-Button Assembly
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the Cover.
3. Remove the Front Panel.
4. Disconnect the power-button cable from the system board.
5. Working from inside the computer chassis, push the tabs that secure the power-button and the hard-drive-light assembly to the chassis.
