Installing the System Board
1. Align the system board to the port connectors and place the system board in the computer.
2. Tighten the screws to secure the system board to the chassis.
3. Affix the tape and connect the LVDS and camera cable.
4. Connect the touchpad cable.
5. Connect the express card reader cable.
6. Connect the speaker cable.
7. Connect the system fan cable and the power cable.
8. Install the:
a) SD card reader
b) palmrest
c) display hinge cover
d) keyboard
e) hard drive
f) optical drive
g) base cover
h) battery
i) express card
j) SD card
9. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer .
Removing the Heat Sink
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the:
a) SD card
b) express card
c) battery
d) base cover
