Q Can individual inputs be inverted, so they can be operated from NC contacts?
A Yes, refer to the user manual, Pr04-09. Normally they are set for NO (Normally Closed)
contacts (input is activated when contact is closed). Please see the example below:
Inputs MI2 and MI5 too be set for NC (Normally Closed) contacts, e.g. when used for
EF. Pr04-09=18 (= 010010 binary).
Q Does Pr07-03 Slip Compensation have to be set in Vector Mode?
A No, when the control mode (Pr00-10) is changed from V/f to Vector, Pr07-03 is
automatically set to 1.
When the control mode is changed from Vector to V/f, Pr07-03 is set to 0.0. If slip
compensation is to be used in V/f mode, Pr07-03 must be set normally to 1.0.
In order to have good slip compensation, please set Pr07-00, Pr07-01 and Pr07-06 to
the right values and execute an Autotune (Pr05-00) for optimal vector mode
performance.
Q OL in PLC2 mode: How to reset?
A When VFD-E works in PLC2 mode and OL is displayed, it will be reset after power
off/on.
Q What is the best way to set up Master-Slave operation?
A One VFD-E, the master, needs to control three VFD-E (we call them slaves).
The best way is to connect the AFM output the master to all AVI inputs of the slaves,
which are thus all connected in parallel.
The VFD-E AFM output can do 10V/2mA, so the maximum load resistance is
10V/2mA=5k.
The AVI input impedance is 47k. If you put 3 inputs in parallel, the total resistance
