SERVICE MODE
No Mode Operation and Function Display

Launching the
service mode and
selecting the
check mode
Pressing the Deck1 or Deck2 PARAMETERS
knob and B ( ) button simultaneously,
turn on the power. Keep pressing the PARAM-
ETERS knob and B ( ) button until
"DENON DJ" is displayed. When the service
mode is set, the service mode's top menu
appears.
Turn the Deck1 or Deck2 PARAMETERS knob
to select each check mode, then press the
PARAMETERS knob to set each check mode.
1) FUNCTION CHK
The various memories are initialized and
internal communications are checked. (For
details, see No. 2.)
2) DECK1 SW CHK
The status (on or off) of the various buttons
of Deck1 is checked.
3) DECK2 SW CHK
The status (on or off) of the various buttons
of Deck2 is checked.
4) PANEL CHK
The FADERIN, PARAMETERS knob, JOG
dial and PITCH slider are checked.
To cancel the service mode, turn the power off.
