Connecting to the IR control connector
If this unit is connected to a Denon amplifier or CD player, the amp or CD player can be controlled via this unit using the Denon “Hi-Fi Remote” app.

Connection
Use the supplied IR control cable to connect the IR CONTROL OUT
connector of this unit to REMOTE CONTROL IN connector of the amplifier
or CD player.

To use this unit and amplifier by itself without connecting a CD player, connect the
IR CONTROL OUT connector of this unit to REMOTE CONTROL IN connector of
the amplifier.

Only the Denon amplifier or CD player which are equipped rear panel with
REMOTE CONTROL connector can be connected.
