where indices "in" is suction branch, "out" is pressure branch, and "calc" are the values
calculated by the user.
3 . INSTALLATION
3.1 MOUNTING/FASTENING
The pump should be mounted and fastened on a solid base plate with a flat and horizontal
surface to avoid distortion.
Notes: Misalignment of the pump/motor could cause damage to pump, motor and/or
pump ball bearing(s) and the rigid coupling between pump and motor. It is most likely
required to use shim(s) below motor feet for preventing misalignment of pump and
motor when the unit is mounted onto a concrete plinth or base plate.
Mounting steps as below:
I. Tighten the 4 screws retaining the pump feet diagonally.
Use shim(s) between motor
foot and concrete plinth or
base plate to avoid tension in
motor foot
